The Rappahannock River courses 195 miles from the Blue Ridge
Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay and is an important river in American history, as evidenced by countless artifacts discovered during the creation of our 700 acre farm estate. The same Blue Ridge minerality that produces the Rappahannock's famous seafood flavors also impacts the soils of our vineyards, producing equally desirable wines. This particular wine is a blend of our Chambourcin grapes combined with unique native varietals, creating a slightly sweet red wine that most prefer to chill prior to consumption.
