Vermentino

Traditionally grown in Italy where it makes fine, dry white wines, we took a chance growing Vermentino and it has exceeded all expectations! The grapes have thrived in our climate and our warmer growing season actually allows this late ripening variety to exhibit unrivaled complexity in its flavor profile. Although not widely grown in our region, Virginia grown Vermentino has been highly revered and among the best wines in the Commonwealth year after year--this vintage is destined to join that elite class of achievement!
