Tidewater 2021

This exceptional red wine began as a true Bordeaux style blend featuring Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec before ingeniously adding the Italian grape, Sangiovese, to create a unique and desired flavor, Utilizing 100% farm grown fruit ripened to perfection, this wine underwent crushed skin contact fermentation prior to malolactic fermentation to provide a smooth finish to go along with exceptional nose and color. The wine was aged in the highest quality oak casks, specially made for our vineyard, for up to 24 months. Just like the Tidewater region of Virginia where our vineyard is located, this dry, red wine is a true gem!
