"Give me liberty or give me death!" were the words spoken by the

great patriot Patrick Henry at St. John's Church in Richmond, VA. We exercised quite a bit of "liberty" as we carefully crafted this proprietary blend, which makes the perfect sweet, sipping wine. Many of the grape cultivars utilized in this blend are native to America, making this wine a true celebration of our freedom. The home depicted on the label is the

"Honeymoon Cottage" located in Mechanicsville, VA, where Patrick Henry and his wife, Sarah, lived around the time of his famous speech in

1775. This historic property is currently owned by Wind Vineyards owners Tyler & Ashley Wind and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as Virginia Landmarks Register.
